The Maltese Falcon is a movie of its time I wonder, where are the writers now like those of the 40′s era??? Anyone? Lots of funny twisting dialog you have to pay attention to get half the dry wit. The acting is subtle, movingly human and suprisingly profound and it only took 36 days to tape it.
