By lifting the naval blockade on Gaza Israel would be giving a sign that it is ready to start the peace process again. By letting humanitarian aid into Gaza the government of Israel would be joining in the arab spring process and become a part of the renewal of the entire middle east.
Israel and Palestine together, through committing to a true and lasting peace, could be at the forefront of a middle east economic engine that might work on green technologies using the abundant solar power in that region and help to rejuvenate the world economy by being a role model and nexus of innovation both in politics and new technologies for the surrounding countries.
