Clooney said service is his goal, and not just getting more in an American culture that seems to honor its artists who gorge themselves on more money, and more of everything over practicing compassion and empathy towards their fellow man.
In turn, friends of Clooney’s say he’s calm, cool, connected, charming, creative and comical without being a jerk. And, they add, that saying something in today’s Hollywood.
