Lately, every time I read about Governor Sarah Palin in the news she is calling someone a name, protesting that someone called her a name, (or her family member) making ludicrous claims- the latest “I could beat Obama in a race”, requesting an apology from a well known person- and so and so forth…
Never a new idea, a solution to a problem, the recognition of an unseen problem, a vision of how she can see America changing for the better…
She is similar to Rush Limbaugh, they are book ends to a category I will call “ Paparazzi Politics.”
People who engage in paparazzi politics use outlandish statements, preferably using the name of a well known politician or media person, so they can glean some of the status from that person to keep themselves in the limelight.
They do not engage in a well thought out debate but a school yard bullying sessions.
So let us, one and all, stop discussing reporting on Sarah Palin until she begins to offer serious policy discussions and debates.
